We are a female owned and operated business. I believe my hunger to learn and always pursue deeper education to better support my equine athletes is my greatest contribution to this business. Whether it be performance based or care based, we are always looking for better options to make things better for the horse and rider.
Importing Was Too Expensive!
All of this started because the costs on importing all the good quality tack from the US stores seemed so cost prohibitive with shipping and duties for the average Canadian buyer, so essentially teying to make high quality goods avaiable to Canadians with reduced cost to get it in their hands with same country shipping and not taxes and import duties. And speed.
I have often ordered packages from the US that have taken 4-6 weeks even when I paid a $30 premium for expedited shipping on an order that was already $100 in shipping
It's meant to stand the test of time
Passed down from generation to generation.
What else is there?
All of our products are made in small batches, majority of it is manufactured through close friends of ours in Brazil. Keeping it to small batch production allows us to stay on top of quality, catch imperfections more effectively before they leave our warehouse and our close relationship with our manufacturer helps resolve any product issues quickly and efficiently.
It is easy for us to stand behind out products because our manufacturer stands behind their production and is always ready to make adjustments I see fit to improve the product.
The #1 Non-Negotiable
My one non negotiable in the western riding world is my horses comfort over everything. I have had the pleasure of re-starting and fixing many problem horses over the years. The formula is simple, make the horse comfortable and teach them how to use their body correctly so they can feel good and subsequently are prepared and happy to do their job. If your tack is uncomfortable, you will never be able to get them to use their body properly.
We Strive To Honor The Western Tradition
By building and producing tack that will stand the test of time and can be passed down for generations. Good saddles aren't cheap but you should expect them to have decades of value and use. Western riding, especially rodeo, is not for the faint of heart and your tack needs to be able to hold up to those demands and last a long time
So, the borderline?
We want to build a community that feels confident in making their choices of tack and care products for them and their horses that will lead to the most comfort and success for them in their chosen discipline. We want a community of people who love their horses and share the same values of putting their horses comfort first.
People who want to invest in products that will hold up over time and provide a safe and enjoyable riding experience.
